In your search for wedding or event venues, you likely have heard a lot of "NO's"...."No, you can't have that caterer or taco truck", "No, you can't have sparklers, "No, we require you to use vendors from our list", "No, we don't have your date available".

 

At River Garden, we love saying YES!

We love weddings, events, and bringing family and friends together to celebrate love and joining two people together.  We feel like you should get the freedom and flexibility to have the wedding you want without breaking the bank or spending your life savings!

 

At River Garden Weddings & Events, we carefully designed the property to meet the needs of couples who are looking for a beautiful one-of-a-kind, blank canvas venue that they can transform into the perfect space for their special day!

With over 30,000 sq. ft of usable space, this gated, covered outdoor space features lush gardens, waterfalls, mature trees, water features throughout, covered patios, and space for over 500 guests.  By using many natural features inspired by landmarks all over the globe, we crafted a space that still feels intimate, while also being able to accommodate even the largest of wedding parties.

Bring Your Own Vendors

You deserve the freedom to bring your favorite vendors to work your wedding or event and we love meeting new vendors that we get to recommend to others!  Don't have any vendors in mind?  No stress!  Our professional, handpicked vendor list is full of quality vendors, and ask our venue concierge about a sweet discount when using 3 of our recommended vendors!!

Host up to 300 Guests

Our venue easily accommodates 300 guests both seated or standing and we have room for photo booths or buses, bars, aerialist displays, and any other artistic installs you can imagine!  We have the Pavillion Lawn Venue (over 7000 sq. ft. of premium turf) and the Conservatory, a covered garden atrium that comfortably seats over 200 guests under our rainproof clerar ceiling (rain plan anyone?!)

12-Hour Rental

A full 12-hour rental gives you, your family, and guests plenty of time to enjoy the property, with plenty of time for your vendor team to set up and cleanup!  We have flexible drop off and pick up time slots for decorations and other setup items as well - ask your venue tour guide for more information!

Maximum Flexiblity when Planning

Each wedding should be unique and reflect YOU and your family and the love you are celebrating!  With that in mind, we give you as much freedom as possible to create a unique wedding or event with your own vendors, decorations, food, beverage options, and more!  And if you need some help, we are happy to recommend vendors from our trusted list of wedding and event experts.

Parking, Bathrooms, & Accessibility

We have plenty of parking for 200+ cars, and with 7 bathrooms, dedicated vendor access, and flexible decor dropoff and pickup times, we make it easy to work with us to pull off your perfect day!  We are located between the 5 and 15 freeways in Vista, CA right off the 78 freeway for easy access without a long commute.


Coming from out of town? We are within 5 miles of 8+ different hotels and resorts that accommodate all budgets and within 35 minutes of San Diego International Airport and 5 minutes away from Palomar Airport.
